A Note: you can find all of these ingredients at your local health food store.
3 Cups of distilled water
1 teaspoon of yarrow
1 teaspoon of sage
1 teaspoon of rosemary
1 teaspoon of peppermint
Before preparing the steam, thoroughly cleanse the your face and neck. Then, boil 3 cups of distilled water. Remove water from heat, add herbs, cover, and let it steep for 5 minutes. Place the pot of infused water on a stable area where you can sit comfortably for 10 minutes. Remove the cover, and drape a large bath towel over your head and shoulders to trap the steam and direct it towards your face/neck area. Keep your eyes closed and your face at least 10 inches from the pot. Take deep, relaxing breaths. When finished, splash your face with cool water to help your pores close. Follow with a moisturizer if needed.
