What to Know for Your First Visit
  • What should I wear?

    For a massage, we recommend comfortable clothing that is easy to get in and out of.  Wear what makes you feel good, comfortable and relaxed.

  • Do I have to be nude to get a massage?

    You can be nude, or you may leave your underwear on if you feel more comfortable.  Your therapist takes your comfort and privacy very seriously, and your body will be covered by a sheet the entire time your therapist is working on you, (except for the body part they are working on at the time) so you should not feel overly exposed.  

  • Where should I park?

    At the Delano Location, onstreet parking is available along both sides of Douglas street, as well as along the nearby side streets.  Also, there is public parking in the lot located behind the Monarch. (The Monarch is on the southeast corner of the roundabout, the lot is to the south.)  Parking in Delano can be tricky to find, especially during baseball games at the stadium down the street - be sure to give yourself extra time to find a spot before your appointment!


    At our East location, there is a parking lot along the east and south sides of the building and parking is plentiful.

  • What if I'm late?

    Sometimes our busy lives can cause us to run behind schedule.  If your therapist or esthetician does not have an appointment immediately after your service we will give you your full time.  If your therapist or esthetician does have an appointment your time will have to be reduced, to end at the originally scheduled time.

  • Should I leave a tip?

    It is customary to show your therapist you appreciate them by leaving a little extra.  20% gratuity is average for a tip. 

  • What if I need to cancel?

    Please call us as far in advance as possible to cancel your appointment. We do require 24 hours cancellation notice for single bookings and 48 hours cancellation notice for parties of 2 or more, in order to refund your deposit.  See below for our full Cancellation Policy.

Spa Policies

Cancellation Policy


We require a deposit of $30 per every 1 hour service in order to hold your appointment time.  This fee will be subtracted from the total amount of your service.  We do require 24 hours cancellation notice for single bookings and 48 hours cancellation notice for parties of 2 or more.   The deposit fee is refundable if we are provided required notice.   If adequate notice is not given for rescheduling or cancellation of appointments the fee will not be refunded.

Children and Young Guests

In order to provide a healing and relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests, we do not allow children under the age of 14 to accompany you during your spa day. 


We do provide massage for children age 14 to  16 with a parent present in the room during the treatment.


Minors ages 17 & 18 require a consent form to be signed by the parent or guardian.

Massage during Pregnancy


If you are pregnant, massage is contraindicated during your first trimester. If you are pregnant and within your first trimester, your appointment may have to be cancelled upon arrival, or a pregancy release will need to be signed.


Please consult your doctor before making a massage appointment during your second or third trimester.

Gift Certificates


Expired gift certificates will reduce by 20% of value for every year they are not redeemed.


Gift cards cannot be applied for gratuity at check out. 


Gift cards are non-refundable, but can be given to a friend or used on retail or skincare products if the gift recipient does not want a service.

Although our East location is in the space Serenity Massage Clinic used to occupy; Bohemia Healing Spa is no way affiliated with Serenity Massage Clinic. Serenity Massage Clinic has gone out of business. Any gift certificates purchased at that location or from Serenity Massage Clinic prior to August 23rd, 2021 were paid to Serenity Massage Clinic not to Bohemia Healing Spa. Unfortunately we are unable to honor those gift certificates, as we cannot give free spa services away.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.



Walk-Ins


Walk-ins are welcome if we have openings. However, we prefer to work by appointment, so please call ahead if possible to ensure the ideal appointment time of your choice.

Privacy and Ethics


We promise to constantly provide professional and courteous service. Your privacy and confidentiality are of the highest priority and are maintained at all times. We intend to offer treatments that are effective and respectful of the client's personal boundaries, and we likewise expect our clients to be respectful of our staff's personal and professional boundaries, so that the experience is relaxing and energizing for both the client and the therapist.

Gratuity


Show your therapist you appreciate them by leaving a little extra.  20% gratuity is average for a tip. 


Bohemia reserves the right to charge 20% gratuity on all parties of 4 or more.

Product Return Policy


Products are returnable within 30 days with proof of purchase.  Product must be more than 50% full in order to be returnable.

How Bohemia is Keeping you Safe

During these turbulent times Bohemia Healing Spa will continue to do everything we can to reduce stress in your life. We understand the uncertainty that the coronavirus (COVID-19) is creating in our community and we want to assure you that our number one priority will always be the safety of our customers and our employees. 


Providing a safe and clean environment has always been an integral part of what we have always done at Bohemia Healing Spa, however we are making a few changes for the purpose of mitigating risk as well as making you feel more comfortable about your visit with us.


Effective Immediately

Bohemia Healing Spa is now offering the option of an aromatherapy face covering during your spa treatment instead of a face mask.


  • Masks are no longer required during your service. Feel free to request your therapist wear a mask if it makes your feel more safe and secure. 
  • We will be limiting the number of people in our lobby, please pay attention to the stop sign on the front of the door.
  • A health questionnaire will be requested prior to your service.
  • Any employees exhibiting any signs of illness will be sent home. 
  • We are refusing services to anyone who has traveled outside the country within the last 6 months or has experienced a cough, fever, or shortness of breath within the last 14 days.
  • All surfaces are wiped down every hour with antibacterial solution including the following:

Front desk / Credit card machine

Phone

Tablets

All door handles inside and outside

Cups

Water Cooler

Toilet Handles / Sink Handles

Cloth surfaces (disinfectant spray)


  • Sanitation stations are outside all rooms for guests and employees.
  • All cloth surfaces including chairs are being sanitized and disinfected in between each use.
  • All employees have been trained on Safe Touch protocols that are used to keep employees and customers safe during the spa treatment.


Our entire team is committed to following these important steps to enhance the protection in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). As the situation evolves our team is continuing to receive updates on recommended protocols and procedures and we are diligently following recommended guidelines provided by the CDC. We will continue to provide you with the highest quality spa experience and keep you informed of any updates or changes that may arise in the future.
